Test & Tag Training Course

ATTA Training will provide you, or your maintenance department with the qualifications and competency to test Portable Electrical Appliances and equipment to the Australian Standards 3760 & 3012.

The course takes one full day to complete. Class sizes are kept small to allow extensive “One on One” training, and lunch & morning tea is provided. The format of the day is interactive and presented in an informative but easy style . This makes for a good learning environment that makes the day move easily and quickly. Allowance is made for plenty of questions and opportunity to clarify and practice your new skills.

Plug Top Replacement Training Course

  • Our half day course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to replace plug tops and sockets to the manufacturer’s standards.
  • You will be provided with theoretical and practical training, all equipment required to complete the course and course notes. Class sizes are limited to small groups.

Group Training – On Site

If you have a group of people you need trained we can accommodate you either at our training centre, or we can come to you. Ideal if you have a maintenance section where you want any one of your personnel to be available for Test and Tag duties.

Courses (General)

  • Test & Tag Courses are run regularly, usually starting at 09:00 am and concluding at 17:00 pm (see details when booking).
  • Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided with special diets taken into consideration.
  • All manuals, pens, paper and other equipment will be provided for you, however, if you have your own Appliance Tester, you are welcome to use it.
  • Our Training class sizes are small to allow “One on One” training which will ensure our class participants get a full understanding of the tasks within the course.

Accredited Courses (RTO)

We also offer students the option to complete an accredited Test and Tag Course. Additional cost and online learning is required to achieve certificate of attainment.
