ATTA Training will provide you, or your maintenance department with the qualifications and competency to test Portable Electrical Appliances and equipment

Test & Tag Training Course

Course Components

There are three components to this course.

Theoretical learning- session online via Microsoft Teams – 4 hours
Practical Learning- via videos through an online link provided after learning session – 1 hour
Assessments- Completed offline preferably within 7 days, with a 1 month maximum.
1. Written via an online form. 15 minutes.
2. Practical Demonstration submitted via video. 45 minutes

Requirements

Computer with web cam and microphone – Good stable internet connection.
Own or have access to a PAT tester.
Smart phone capable of filming video.
WhatsApp installed onto that phone. (Available free from App Store and Google Play).

Plug Top Replacement Training Course

Course Components

Proof of completion of an approved Test and Tag Course is a pre requisite of this course.

There are two components to this course.

Theoretical learning- online via Microsoft Teams – 2 hours.
Assessments- Completed offline preferably within 7 days, with a 1 month maximum.
1. Construct an extension lead under the observation of the trainer. (On Camera)
2. Written assessment via an online form. – 10 minutes.

Requirements

Computer with web cam and microphone – Good stable internet connection
1 x 10a replaceable plug and 1 x 10a replaceable extension socket.
1 metre of 3 core (1.5mm) flexible cord. (Similar to an extension lead)
Tools – Side Cutters, Suitable Screwdriver, Wire Strippers, Sheath Stripper.
A PAT Tester.

Emergency Exit Light Training Course

Course Components

There are two components to this course.

Theoretical learning session online via Microsoft Teams – 2 hours.
Written assessment via an online form. – 10 minutes

Requirements

Good stable internet connection
Computer with web cam and microphone

What are the Test and Tag Training Regulations?

ATTA Training is in compliance with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 3760. A bench mark and minimum requirement in Australia & New Zealand.

Where is your training held?

Virtual Classroom online available to the whole of Australia.
On site at your business or venue.
Face to Face Training will be held at Moorabbin Bowls Club (426-428 South Road, Moorabbin 3189)

Do you offer On-site Training?

Yes. We provide On-Site training for groups of 4 – 12 in Victoria and NSW.

How long does the Test and Tag Course take?

Virtual Classroom
- 4 hours online
- 2 hours offline. (Self-paced learning).
On Site
- 1 day

Can l complete the Plug Top Replacement Course on the same day as Test and Tag Course

Virtual Classroom
- We often run a Plug Top Replacement Course after the Test and Tag course.
Onsite
- Yes. When you make your booking you will need to speak to our sales team and they will arrange it.

Do l have to be an electrician?

No. The only requirement is that you are over the age of 16 and can read and write English.

Can l get a discount if l book 2 courses?

Will l receive a Licence Card?

You will be issued with a pdf certificate of competency.
